Waynetown, July 18 - Mrs. Joanna Fields Luse, 81, resident of Waynetown for almost 50 years was found dead in a chair at her home here at 5:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Heart failure caused her death. She was found by Mrs. Ely Taylor, a neighbor. Several neighbors reported seeing her sitting on her porch shortly after 4 p.m. Sunday. Mrs. Luse was born in Illinois Jan 11, 1856. She was married to Amos Luse, who died 10 years ago. Before coming here she resided in Wingate. Surviving are one son, Frank H. Luse of Waynetown; two sisters, Miss Margaret FIelds and Mrs. Katherine Hall, both of Keokuk, Iowa, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the Waynetown Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock in charge of Rev. Guy E. Tremaine. Interment will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. - kbz
